The Patriot Act and the Death of American Freedom

Republicans are seeking to extend the Patriot Act for another four years, which will continue to take away our freedoms in an effort to fight Terrorism - a term so loosely defined, that the government can spy on just about any citizen. Last time I checked, The United States was defined as a Democracy. It appears that with the Bush Administration we are slowly starting to resemble an Autocracy. Luckily Sen. Russell Feingold (D-Wisconsin) is threatening to filibuster the bill:
