Barbara Bush calls 2012 race 'worst campaign I've ever seen'

The former first lady via Politico: “I think it’s been the worst campaign I’ve ever seen in my life,” she said Monday at Southern Methodist University during a conference on the influence of the nation’s first ladies. I hate that people think compromise is a dirty word. It’s not a dirty word. I think the rest of the world is looking at us these days and saying, ‘What are you doing?’”

Not just the rest of the world, but our side of the world too! I can't believe anyone would vote for any of these blithering idiots. Save for Ron Paul, the GOP is looking like the aftermath of the other word for "santorum." (google it)

Santorum backs nullifying existing gay marriages

"There are 18,000 married gay and lesbian couples in California and at least 131,000 nationwide according to the 2010 census, conducted before New York state legalized same-sex marriage in July.

Rick Santorum says he'll try to unmarry all of them if he's elected president."

Michele Bachmann makes more false statements than any other GOP presidential race contender

From The Daily What: On this morning’s Good Morning America, host George Stephanopoulos pointed out to Michele Bachmann — who earlier today told CNN she wishes she “could be perfect every time I say something” but can’t — that she makes more false statements than any other GOP presidential race contender according to PolitiFact, before giving her an opportunity to clarify her statement concerning the founding fathers’ tireless efforts to end slavery.

Bachmann took advantage of opportunity… to dig in deeper by claiming her statement is correct since “founding father” John Quincy Adams (nine years old in 1776), who was “most certainly was a part of the Revolutionary War era,…worked throughout his life to make sure that we did in fact one day eradicate slavery.”

In somewhat related news, Bristol Palin told Fox News her mom “definitely knows” whether or not she intends to run for president, but wouldn’t reveal the decision. Tease.
